Referrals and Reviews Procedure
Referrals are made via local education authorities, special needs departments, youth offending teams, or social service departments. The referring agency accepts financial responsibility for the placement.

Referred students are invited to interview with their parents / carers and social worker, Education Welfare Officer or YOT worker. There is a basic contract which students must agree to and sign before they start. We negotiate an agreement based on the needs of the student. Every half term parents / carers and referring officers are invited to a review with the student and staff. This is an opportunity to review progress, set new targets, and write Individual Education Plans.
